This album will describe the building of the LEM Eagle of Apollo 11. This is Dragon 11008 issued in 2011. After the X-15 and the incredible pilots who flew that machine going to the edge of space for the first time some of them as Neil Armstrong were selected to fly to the Moon, no less ! So my small scale modeling trip had to follow these men and to jump from the X-15 to the LEM as this is the logical path. The Dragon kit is not the best base once could dream of, but as I always say 1000 times better starting from it than from scratch, so even if there is a lot to say once you closely look at the pictures from the LEM, thanks Dragon for their effort in delivering this kit.
